10th - 12th February, 2004
Visit our stand
We would like to invite all EMV 2004 visitors to come and see us at our stand and to attend our workshop!
York EMC Services Ltd can be found at stand number 1-E01, adjacent to Nutwood and EMCIA.
Come to our workshop
Andy Rowell and Didier Bozec will be running a workshop on
Wednesday 11th February, on
“Developments in EMC Measurement Technology”.
Contents:
- Emission Measurements above 1 GHz
- The measurement problem is identified showing the need to perform height scans in a
FAR. Practical measurements using Horn
and Compact range antennas are presented.
- GTEM cells - frequencies to 6GHz
- GTEM to
OATS emissions correlation and repeatability data presented,
also a comparison of GTEM to
FAR immunity results.
- GTEM Good Practice Guide
- IEC 61000-4-20 draft includes the GTEM; the Good
Practice Guide (produced by York EMC Services and NPL under sponsorship from the DTI) gives
guidance on performing measurements to this standard, and with acceptable uncertainties.
- Alternative railway EMC emission measurements
- The threat presented by the railway to radio services, based on emission limits defined by EN 50121,
has been analysed and shows a major threat to AM, FM, and DAB. Alternative measurement systems have been
investigated using frequency and time domain techniques. Results are presented from a broadband-antenna—based
FD/TD measurement system with multiple antennas and receivers
connected via a splitter network. Measurements are combined in a statistical manner to provide an estimate of average
or quasi-peak values.
You can register for the workshop on the
official site, where you can find
more details of the conference and exhibition.
