From the North A1(M)/A64 junction, follow the A1(M) South for approximately 2 miles until the motorway splits. Take the M1 towards Leeds (right hand fork), but leave the motorway at the first exit.
At the roundabout, turn left on the A656 towards Castleford. Continue on the A656 at the roundabout with the A63.
Following the bridge over the River Aire, turn right at the next roundabout and continue over the next roundabout (2nd exit). At the T junction, turn right and follow Methley Road round to the left. The EMC Test Centre is approximately 1 mile on the left.
From the M62 take Junction 31 off the motorway and follow the A655 towards Castleford. After approximately 1 mile, take a left turn at a mini roundabout towards Methley. After about 200 yards the road descends and passes over a railway bridge. At the bottom of the incline, take a right turn with the Fourways pub on the corner. This is Methley Road and turn right onto Methley Road and the Castleford laboratory is approximately 200 yards on the right.
By rail: The Castleford laboratory is a 5 minute taxi journey from the Castleford railway station.
