York EMC Services Ltd, a subsidiary company of the University of York, is a leading international provider of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) services with a domestic and international client base, and has four sites in the UK. The company performs accredited testing, technical consultancy, development of innovative test equipment and provides EMC educational training.
Initial salary £30,000 - £35,000 p.a. (negotiable) + contributory final salary pension
Post available from May 2010 due to retirement of incumbent. Extensive handover period into brand new, purpose built test facilities.
Applications are invited from candidates educated to honours degree level in an engineering/related discipline. Charged by the Operations Director with managing and further developing our brand new UKAS Accredited EMC Test Centre in Bristol the successful candidate will have 5 years' experience of project/quality management (ISO 17025) in a customer driven environment together with excellent interpersonal skills and a full EU driving licence.
