York EMC Services Ltd (YES) is pleased to announce that its EMC test laboratories in Castleford (West Yorkshire) and Donibristle (Fife) are now UKAS accredited to EN60601-1-2:2001; the revised EMC standard for electro-medical equipment.
EN60601-1-2:2001 replaces the first edition on 1st November 2004 and therefore both laboratories are now taking bookings from manufacturers of electro-medical equipment keen to have products re-assessed to the new standard.
