Formerly Global Telecommunication Laboratories since 1983, the Bristol laboratory was integrated into York EMC Services in 2007. The laboratory is managed by Bob Mulkerrin and has extensive test facilities for both witnessed and unattended testing, including:
The laboratory was awarded UKAS accreditation in February 2008 for a range of International, European and British Standards, covering electrical safety (Low Voltage Directive) and EMC.

Customer Equipment Forms (CEFs) are available for
download which allow manufacturers to detail their equipment and specify their
requirements.
The Bristol laboratory is located in Soundwell, to the east of Bristol’s centre and easily accessible from J18 of the M4 or J1 of the M32.
