Castleford Laboratory

The Castleford laboratory was opened in 1996, having previously been located on the University of York campus. The laboratory is managed by Joe Ryan and has extensive test facilities including:-

The laboratory holds UKAS accreditation for a wide range of International and European Standards. Our latest accreditation schedule is available for download from UKAS.

In addition the laboratory holds the following accreditations and approvals:

[VCCI logo] VCCI supporting member.

[NZ Ministry of Commerce logo] New Zealand Ministry of Commerce approved.

[B&Q logo] B&Q preferred Test House.

[PDF] Customer Equipment Forms (CEFs) are available for download which allow manufacturers to detail their equipment and specify their requirements.

The Castleford Laboratory is located to the East of Leeds, just 5 minutes from Junction 31 of the M62. Both the A1(M) and M1 motorways are nearby making the laboratory easily accessible.
