Joe Ryan, Laboratory Manager, Castleford
Joe joined York EMC Services in January 2006, taking up the position of Laboratory Manager at the Castleford Laboratory.
Joe takes responsibility for the laboratory’s operations ensuring the continued compliance with the requirements of ISO 17025 and the laboratory’s UKAS accreditation.
Joe is committed to providing a top quality service ensuring our customers’ needs and requirements are met and fulfilled.
Prior to joining York EMC Services, Joe held responsibility for Safety and EMC product approvals at Sharp Manufacturing Company of UK. Joe was responsible for the successful set-up and VDE TDAP accreditation of the site’s safety test laboratory.
Joe has a broad knowledge of EMC and LVD standards, CE marking and product conformity. Joe has been an active member of BSI committees involved in standards development. He also presents on the Company’s short course and workshop programme.
