Introduction to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

This is an introductory workshop and aimed at those with little or no EMC experience.

It is designed as an introduction to the subject of EMC, providing a practical and pragmatic understanding. It will give an overall understanding of EMC, stress the multi-disciplinary skills required to manage it and strip away the 'black art' mythology.

It is an excellent platform on which to build further training.

The New EMC Directive

The new EMC Directive 2014/30/EU is now in force with no transition period.

The new provisions have an effect not just on Manufacturers but also Authorised Representatives, Importers and Distributors in the EU. A brief overview of the implications of the provisions are discussed in this course and presented in more detail in our courses entitled The EMC Directive Explained and Fundamentals of EMC.

This course is available on request as an in-house course at your premises or at York EMC Services. Please contact us for more information.
